Alright, so my stuff is packed and I'm ready to head out for the fourth day. It's raining and very grey, but fortunately still warm. I slept pretty well last night! The map of this area I picked up back home isn't to date and has screwed me twice now. I'm a little behind where I'd like to be, but I'm on my own time so it doesn't matter. I stayed in a Rocky Mountain themed room last night, which was pretty cool.
My route today, which has changed due to the purchase of an accurate road map, will take me a off the coast and back to it through an inland highway. Anticipating a lot of climbing today. The campsite I'm off to is 51 miles away, so hopefully I'll make it before the sun starts to go down.
I've figured out how to post the GoPro footage through YouTube, however I have to keep them short. The video is in HD and takes forever to upload. Ill post the link to my YouTube account later.
For now, here are some pictures. Enjoy :)

Day 3.
Helloooo from Mexico, again. I'm eating lunch at a little restaurant and fortunately they have wifi! Figured I should take advantage of it and make a post. The food here is, of course, delicious and very cheap. The weather is amazing, too! Blue, sunny skies with very little wind. Not too much change in elevation so far today (30km) so it's been a pretty easy ride... no hike-a-bike today!... yet. I'm not regretting taking my single speed, however it's proving to be very difficult. My legs will get used to it and eventually won't be a problem.
I haven't been sleeping too well. Might be a combo of stress and anxiety of being alone out here, though odds are my body just isn't used to falling asleep without a certain green aid. Again, I'll get used to it! :)
I'm off to find a campsite, somewhere before or after Ensenada. Wish me luck!
I haven't taken any photos today, except this one of my meal... This is what you get for $4.50 out here :) more than I can eat!

Day 2.
I'm writing this post in Rosarito, the town I was hoping to be in last night. It was a trip getting here. I woke up this morning knowing I'd have to find the highway I need to be on. I thought I found it after about thirty minutes of riding, but turns out I was on the wrong freaking one!!! I needed Highway 1, but ended up on Highway 1D, which is a toll road that doesn't allow bikes. Anyway, I was told to turn around by the policia and ended up having to ride back to where I crossed the border. It took hours and miles of hiking up incredibly steep, dangerous and scary roads, but I made it. So scary and narrow that I chose to hike my bike instead of ride it.
My ride today was pretty interesting, but not discouraging. This is my first international trip and I'm adapting to it. It's crazy to see the slums in the mountains here. It's eye-opening and very sad. A combination of beautiful and disturbing views so far!
Here are some pictures. I'm trying to figure out how to upload GoPro footage still. I recorded a dog chasing me through the ghetto. Didn't catch me :) hopefully I can get those up soon.
