Tusayan, AZ to Red Lake, AZ

Geez, my poor legs. The ride to Red Lake from Tusayan was only 43 miles, but it took three and a half hours. The last 5-10 miles were up hill and definitely put my legs to the test. Not much here in Red Lake, besides a Texaco that has a hostel and campground. I set up my home for the night and went straight to bed after dinner. I woke up in the middle of the night to a frost covered tent and freezing cold! Fortunately, my gear kept me warm and the sun came up fast. It heats up pretty fast in AZ, so the frost and moisture on my tent was gone quickly. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. My ride yesterday was through good weather, blue skies and positive vibes... I dig it!
